WHY THIS EXISTS
The Digital Audio Manual is a body of work, created to bring clarity and avoid confusion in the use of many of the manuals for music software programs such as Cubase, Wavelab and others. It is being developed all the time by owner creator Andrew Blake, who started the project after too many frustrating experiences of trying to find simple answers to what seemed relatively simple questions about the use and operation of such programs.
YOU'RE NOT ALONE
Although many times it may seem that way. Hitting walls with what information is available, and then worse, you begin the search for better information only to feel like you've found your way into quicksand. I have been there, and that's what started all this in the first place.
I want to create music. Music that expresses what I need it to express. And a piece of that is now in the technology we use to create our music. The programs, brilliant as they are, sometimes are really lacking in presenting themselves in clear easy to follow steps.
I used to say, "Its like they designed the car, but then said, its up to you to learn how to drive it". So I began to do my own research and develop my own learning strategies. And eventually, with no small amount of effort, the stone began to move.
And now I'm sharing this new learning experience with you..
